Welcome to Kindle Women Initiative, a Faith-based non profit organization dedicated to uplifting girls and women through education, mentorship, skills development, and entrepreneurship, especially in underserved communities. Our goal is to foster educated, self-sufficient women prepared for global impact. One girl at a time, one woman at a time. A girl who is taught becomes a woman who teaches a nation.

Millions of Nigerian girls are still locked out of the future they were born to build.
Across Nigeria, girls face barriers that compound: interrupted schooling, early marriage pressure, financial hardship, and a near-total absence of mentorship or industry pathways once school ends. The girls we work with aren't short on ability. They're short on access. KWIN exists to close that gap, one girl, one skill, one grant at a time.
Our approach
Every programme we run is built on the same three principles, whichever one a girl applies for. This isn't a ladder she has to climb from one to the next, it's how we design each programme on its own.
Teach
Character development and academic support build the foundation: self-worth, life skills, and classroom performance
Mentor
Girls are paired with mentors and guided into industry-relevant skills, from tech to trades, at a 1:15 mentor-to-student ratio
Empower
Graduates receive grants, business training, and support to turn skills into sustainable income

Character Development
Girls build self-awareness, life principles, and healthy relationships through modules on self-concept, financial literacy, goal setting, leadership, and emotional intelligence. 85% of participants report significant transformation
QeDu Education
Academic support and career guidance for girls ages 10 to 20, including maths competitions, school debates, essay competitions, career discovery, and scholarship placement. 1:15 mentor-to-student ratio across 36 cohorts

We provide education support, mentorship, digital and vocational skills training, and business grants to help Nigerian girls and women build sustainable futures.
Yes. Our programmes include creative and design tracks, pairing participants with mentors who guide them through real-world design projects.
We teach modern, accessible tools that lower the barrier to entry, helping participants ship real projects with industry-standard platforms.
Our core programmes are free for accepted participants. KWIN is funded through grants and donations so cost is never a barrier to access.
No hidden fees. Any optional add-ons are communicated clearly and transparently before a participant enrolls.
Programmes run between 8 and 24 weeks depending on the track, followed by ongoing mentorship and alumni support.
We equip participants to maintain their own work, and our community and mentors remain available for continued guidance.
